Anna Hudson

I am primarily interested in trauma-related psychopathology and the effects of experiencing trauma on our perception of the world around us, in particular in the way it affects how we think about ourselves, other people, and our social interactions. Furthermore, I am fascinated by the interplay between (social) cognition, psychophysiology, and neurobiology. During my PhD, I will be investigating the impact of childhood maltreatment on Theory of Mind using neuroimaging measures such as fMRI. As a side interest, I enjoy learning about emotion recognition and understanding in people who have experienced trauma. I also enjoy volunteering and travelling.
